About myraids.com
Myraids.com is a robust easy to use DKP management tool for guilds playing todays popular MMORPGs. Myraids.com was designed
be be a center point for managing, searching, and viewing your guilds DKP information. Our tools allow officers of your
guild to quickly enter raids, modify dkp values, and make loot decicisions. Members of your guild can manage thier
characters keys, flags, and profile links. If your guild raids a little or a lot and wants to use a DKP system, you have
come to the right place. Leading a guild can be time consuming, especialy if your guild is large and raids on a regular basis.
Our tools are designed to make management of your guild DKP values quick and easy.
DKP Basics
A DKP system is a point based system where events and items have a point value. A good way to think about it is like a bank.
The more events you attend the more points you acumulate in the bank. When you spend your points on a reward they are deducted
from your total. This system rewards people that attend raids more often as they will have more points to spend. However, a
character that does not raid as often can still save up points to spend over a longer period of time.
How does myraids.com work?
Our DKP management tools are hosted on our server using our databases. Each guild that signs up gets its own "instance" so to
speak. This instance contains your guilds DKP information. Officers of your guild can modify, add to, or delete any information
your guild instance. Some advantages of a hosted DKP management solution are:
No complex setup. You do not have to learn about databases, programming, security, or setting up a web server.
No backup worries. We do a full backup our database every night, and can restore your database back to any backup if needed.
No ISP changes. You do not have to move your guild webpage or change your ISP to use our management tools. Simply add a few link to your existing site.
Easy Configuration. Configure your look and feal, set the links for your guild home page and your ready to go.
Create Raid Wizard
Officers can create a raid in just a few minutes with our create raid wizard. Select an event, add players to the event, assign loot, and save the raid. The DKP values for events and items can be updated and saved during the wizard. When the raid is saved, our system automaticly does all the math and updates all players acordingly. Adding players to an event can be done in several ways. EverQuest has a raid dump feature that can be used to save your raid data to a file which can be uploaded to the wizard. In addition to this for EverQuest you can copy/paste /who output from your log files. For World of Warcraft we have built a user interface addon to dump the raid information into a file that can be uploaded to the wizard.
Guild Roster Update Wizard
Update your entire guild roster with just a few clicks. EverQuest has a guild dump feature that can be used to create a data file with your guild information which can be uploaded to the wizard. For World of Warcraft we have buit a custom user interface addon that can be used to save your guild data to a file that can be uploaded to the wizard. After the data file has been uploaded you will see a report of new members, changed members, and deleted members.
Recruit Management
Recruiting is a part of every guild. Our system keeps track of recruits and allows officers to promote them to full members when
they meet the guild requirements. We also have a recruit application that you can link to from your guild site.
Officers of your guild can accept or delete applications.
Attendance, Item, and Event Tracking
Every time your officers enter a new raid it becomes a part of the raid archive. The archive is never purged and is
searchabe by your guild members. Members of your guild can drill down into any raid in the archive and see what players
attended, what loot was awarded, and the dkp values at the time of the event. From there they can drill down into any
player that attended to view that players individual ledger sheet and running balance.
Integrated Help System
On every page of our DKP management tools is a "Help" link. This link will provide help specific to the current page you are on.
